If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
You are Everything To Somebody
1. What kind of personality do you think you have?
I like to think of myself as a balanced person. I enjoy the company of other people, but sometimes I like to be alone to work or just think. I focus hard on the things that are necessary, but when I have some time off, I like to sit back and relax.
2. Would you describe yourself as outgoing or reserved?
I can be both. It depends on the situation and who I am with..
3. Are you more of a follower or a leader?
I'd say I'm good at being a follower but if there is a need for me to be at the forefront of things, I don't balk at the responsibility..
4. What would you say are some of your strong points?
I am considerate of other people, especially their shortcomings. I believe a failure will bring another chance. That's my motto. That's why I try not to be biased in life but to find a lot of possibilities in life.
5. What is your hobby?
I love collecting different kinds of fashion styles. Sometimes i consider it as my weakness.Well. some people see me as "fashionista".
6.Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
I'm strong in positive thinking and concentration. My down side is that I care too much about little stuffs but I am trying to change that now.
7. Tell me what your worst habit is.
My worst habit is spending a lot of money buying accesories which in fact it isn't much a need.
8. Do you like meeting with people?
That's my preoccupation. I love to make new friends.
9. Do you think you are ambitious?
I am. I believe every person should have an ambition or else he wouldn't have any direction at all. If a man had no ambition, what then is he living for?
10. What makes you angry?
I am not easily angered; however, I particularly dislike overbearing, over-aggressive egotistical behavior.
11. What inspires you?
When I see people being passionate about what they do and really care about,it inspires me to be good at what I do.
12. What is your principle in life?
Never surrender. That's how I look at the challenges in life. I won't give up no matter how difficult the situation.
13. Who do you admire the most?
I admire Oprah Winfrey because of her accomplishments in life. She has helped a lot of people. She inspires me.
14. What is the one lesson you learned as a child that still affects your life today?
I learned that a lie does not solve a problem in the past; it even creates another problem in the future. I once told a lie to save myself from my mother's spanking. I stood by my fabricated story and told one more lie after another until such time that I could no longer keep track of what lies I told to every particular person without being found out that I was lying. My credibility crumbled.
15. Which color do you like?
I like blue. It's a royal color. It has a pacifyng effect on me.
16. Tell me, who is the personality that best represents you as a person?
I choose Queen Victoria of England. I think I am like her in a smaller way. Queen Victoria ascended to the throne at a very young age but she never married. Instead, she dedicated her life to governing England to bring the kingdom to greatness. She sacrificed herself for the greater glory. I am like that, too. I am ready to make sacrifices for the greater good.
17. What is the most precious gift you have given to someone?
For me, quality time can not be quantified monetarily. Considering the busy person that I am, I seldom find time to party or loiter around. So I think the most precious gift I have given to someone is my time.
18. What is the biggest challenge in your life?
The biggest challenge of my life is overcoming my grief over the lost of a loved one. Losing him was the most difficult part of my life. It is a big challenge to wake up each day and not think of him and cry inside.
19. How well do you take stress?
I believe that a little stress once in a while is better than no stress at all. When I am so worn out, I go to bed early and sleep. If it doesn't work, I go find a quiet place and cry out loud. After that, I feel good.
20. How do you handle conflict?
I keep communication lines open. I honestly express my feelings in a way that also takes into consideration the feelings and rights of other people. I avoid being aggressive. Most importantly, I try being conciliatory to avoid the stress of a conflict.
21. If your friend feels down, how can you cheer him/her up?
First, I'll ask him to share his problem with me and I'll lend him an ear. Then I'll offer some options that I would take if I were in his shoes. And then, I would take him out to a funny movie. But,it depends upon the situation.
22. What type of person wouldn't you like to be with?
I wouldn't like to have a person who's very moody. It makes me irritated.
23. What is the biggest mistake in your life?
The biggest mistake in my life was trusting someone right away without getting to know him thoroughly first. That mistake taught me a lesson.
24. Is it a sin to tell a lie?
If I take it from a Christian point of view, lying is a sin no matter what, even if the intention is good. With morality as the yardstick, I believe some lies are necessary and they are not wrong especially if they are done out of empathy and compassion.
25. Describe your personality.
I am who I am.
Teaching may not be a lucrative position, it cannot guarantee financial security.
It even means investing your personal time, energy and resources. Sometimes it means disappointments, heartaches and pains. But touching the hearts of people and opening the minds of children can give you joy and contentment which money couldn't...(..)
Let’s face it
English is a stupid language
There is no egg in the eggplant
No ham in the hamburger
And neither pine nor apple in the pineapple.
English muffins were not invented in England
French Fries were not invented in France.
We sometimes take English for granted
But if we examine its paradoxes we find that
Quicksand takes you down slowly
Boxing rings are square
And a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.
If writers write, how come fingers don’t fing
If the plural of tooth is teeth
Shouldn’t be the plural of phone booth be phone beeth?
If the teacher taught,
Why didn’t the preacher praught
If a vegetarian eats vegetables
What the heck does a humanitarian eat?
Why do people recite at a play?
Yet play at a recital?
Park on driveways and
Drive on parkways
How can be the weather is as hot as hell on one day
And as cold as hell on another
You have to marvel at the unique lunacy
Of a language where a house can burn up as
It burns down
And in which you fill in a form
By filling it out
And a bell is only heard once it goes!
English was invented by people not computers
And it reflects the creativity of the human race
(Which of course isn’t a race at all?)
That is why
When the stars are out they are visible
But when the lights are out they are invisible
And why is it that when I wind up my watch
But when I wind up this poem

Go placidly amidst the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender, be in good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others,
even to the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons;they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals ,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God,
whether you conceive HIM to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery , and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
BE CHEERFUL. STRIVE TO BE HAPPY
